Gold price increases by Tk 3,236 per bhori

Gold prices have increased again in the country’s market. A day after the price was reduced yesterday, the price of the best quality or 22-carat gold has increased by Tk 3,236 to Tk 2,68,214 per bhori today, Tuesday (March 10).
A notification issued by the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) this morning said that the price of acid gold (pure gold) has increased in the local market. As a result, the price of gold has increased. This price has been effective from 10 am.
According to the BAJUS announcement, the price of 21-carat gold per bhori has increased by Tk 2,56,025; 18-carat gold is priced at Tk 2,19,458. In addition, if you want to buy gold through the traditional method, you will have to pay Tk 1,79,159 per bhori. The BAJUS notification also mentioned that the government will add 5 percent VAT to the selling price of gold.
