The new facility is equipped with Danieli rolling mills and dedicated bar and wire lines, enabling tight dimensional tolerances and consistent mechanical properties. The company will produce austenitic, ferritic, martensitic, duplex and super duplex grades, targeting high-corrosion and high-performance applications across infrastructure, engineering and industrial sectors.

Tiger Stainless complements the company’s existing long steel and structural portfolio. Shyam Metalics operates three manufacturing plants in Odisha and West Bengal, with an overall installed metal capacity of 13 million tonnes/year and captive power capacity of 118 MW.

The development aligns with rising domestic demand for corrosion-resistant and precision-engineered stainless steel products.
