Health Minister announces eradication of middlemen from government hospitals

Health Minister Sardar Md. Sakhawat Hossain has announced eradication of middlemen from government hospitals. He also said that those who steal patients from hospitals or cheat patients will be severely punished. He made this announcement while visiting Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Wednesday (March 4) morning.
Sardar Md. Sakhawat Hossain said that instructions have been given to the Dhaka Medical College authorities to improve the hospital environment and ensure the quality of food. He directed to take strict action against anyone who neglects his duties.
The Health Minister mentioned at the time that the government’s resources are limited and the government is working to ensure healthcare to the people within these limited resources. The government is determined to ensure service to patients across the country, including Dhaka.
