Housewife dies after being run over by train in Badarganj
A housewife named Momina Begum (40) died after being run over by a train in Badarganj, Rangpur. She is the wife of Asaduzzaman of Khamarkol village in Uttar Baochandi area of Madhupur union of the upazila. She was killed when the Rangpur-bound Dolanchapa Express train that left Parbatipur near Auliaganj railway station at 10:30 am on Tuesday (March 3).
Rangpur Railway Police In-charge Abul Kalam Azad said that the body parts of the deceased woman are being collected. After that, necessary legal action will be taken. Meanwhile, people in the area and family members said that Momina Begum sometimes loses her mental balance. However, this morning she left her house with a sickle and a sack in her hand to cut grass for her cows. Later, it was reported that she died after being run over by a train.
