Woman cuts off man’s private parts during rape attempt

A man’s penis has been cut off on charges of attempting to rape a housewife in Khetlal, Joypurhat. The victim cut off the accused’s penis with a sharp blade in self-defense. The incident took place in Mundail village of Khetlal Municipality area after 7 pm yesterday, Sunday (March 1).
According to local and victim family sources, Nazrul Islam (42), son of Azmad Hossain of Mundail village, entered the house of a woman of the same village. Later, he forcibly hugged her. At that time, a fight broke out between the two. At one point, the woman cut off the accused’s penis with a sharp blade in self-defense. After that, she was taken to the Upazila Health Complex for treatment. Later, she was taken elsewhere for better treatment.
They also said that Nazrul had harassed the woman in various ways before. The woman did not tell anyone about the matter, thinking of her honor. On the day of the incident, the woman was sitting at home cutting her toenails. At that time, Nazrul entered the house and hugged her from behind. After an argument at one point, he pulled her to the bed in the house.
The victim’s husband has alleged that the accused has harassed his wife several times before. The wife was alone at home at the time of the incident. Seeing the situation unbearable, he was forced to take this tactical self-defense step to protect his dignity.
Khetlal Police Station OC Nur Alam Siddiqui said that the victim and her family members have come to the police station in this incident. Legal action is being taken regarding the incident.
