Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the phone. Modi made a statement at around 2 am Bangladesh time today (March 1). The statement was also posted on Narendra Modi’s verified account on social media.
In it, he said, ‘I spoke to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the phone. We discussed the current regional situation (Middle East). We expressed India’s concerns about the recent developments and highlighted the safety of the common people as the highest priority. India has once again made it clear that this conflict should end now.’
It is worth noting that last Saturday, the United States and Israel carried out massive attacks on various places in Iran, including Tehran. These attacks were mainly aimed at Iran’s top leadership. Along with Khamenei, top officials from various departments of the country, including Iranian Defense Minister Aziz Nasserzadeh, Khamenei’s security advisor Ali Shamkhani, Chief of the Armed Forces General Abdul Rahim Mousavi, and Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Commander-in-Chief Mohammad Pakpour, lost their lives.
