US troops withdraw from Syria

The US is withdrawing all troops deployed in Syria. The international media outlet Al Jazeera confirmed the matter in a report on Thursday (February 19).
Last week, the US military confirmed the withdrawal of all troops from the Al-Tanf base in southern Syria. The base was widely used in operations against the terrorist group ISIS in Syria, Iraq and Jordan.
A few months ago, Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara announced his decision to join the US-led coalition to suppress ISIS.
