India: Around 50,000-t iron ore fetched bids at SMIORE auctions
Sandur Manganese and Iron Ores Limited (SMIORE) sold 46,000 t of iron ore out of 82,000 t offered from Bellary, Karnataka, on 7 Feb. 5,000 t (5-20 mm, Fe 55.6-56.8%) at INR 3,928-4,204/t, 17,000 t of lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 55.7-56.8%) were booked at INR 3,814-4,132/t and 24,000 t (20-40 mm, Fe 54.3-55.9%) at INR 3,784-4,305/t. Prices are inclusive of royalty, DMF and NMET charges.
