Nepal: Rebar prices rise by NPR 500/t ($3/t) as buyer interest improves
Nepal’s rebar prices increased by NPR 500/t ($3/t) w-o-w to NPR 77,500-79,500/t ($528-541/t) for cash guarantee deals and NPR 79,500-81,500/t ($541-555/t) for bank guarantee transactions. Sentiment turned cautiously positive, hinting at a gradual recovery in demand. Meanwhile, IF-EAF wire rod offers climbed up by $39/t to around $530/t CNF Raxaul, supported by firmer regional trade activity and improved buying interest.
