125 killed, including 92 terrorists, in Balochistan army operation

125 people, including 15 security personnel, were killed in clashes in Pakistan’s border province of Balochistan. Geo News reported that the ISPR said that a group called ‘Fitna al-Hindustan’ carried out coordinated attacks in several districts including Quetta, Mustang, Nushki, Dalbandin, Kharan, Panjgur, Tump, Gwadar and Pasni on Saturday. Three suicide bombers were also among the gunmen killed.
The country’s military’s media wing, the ISPR, said that 92 Indian-backed gunmen were killed in a massive clearance operation in Balochistan. At the same time, 15 security personnel lost their lives in the operation. 18 civilians were killed in the gunmen’s attack. Women, children, the elderly and laborers were also among the dead, Geo News reported. Meanwhile, the army claimed that intelligence agencies have confirmed that the attacks were planned and carried out from outside Pakistan and that the gunmen were in direct contact with the attackers. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti said that the anti-terror operation is almost at its final stage. Meanwhile, Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi claimed that the attacks were planned from India and those responsible will be brought to justice internationally. Meanwhile, all road routes from Punjab to Balochistan have been temporarily closed due to security reasons.
