India: South African thermal coal portside prices rise further
South African thermal coal prices at Indian ports rose again w-o-w. RB2 (5,500 NAR) increased by INR 100/t to INR 9,200/t exw-Paradip, while RB3 (4,800 NAR) jumped sharply by INR 400/t to INR 8,000/t amid port stock tightness. Limited cargo availability due to falling port stocks and improving sponge iron prices in India supported offers, though buying remained selective.
