India: Bids increase by INR 250/t in NMDC’s latest pig iron auction
NMDC Nagarnar Steel Plant held an auction on 17 Jan’26 for 5,000 t of steel-grade pig iron, with the entire quantity booked at an average price of INR 36,200-36,300/t exw. Bids increased by around INR 250/t compared with the previous auction on 2 Jan’26, in which 7,000 t were booked at INR 36,000/t exw.
