Nepal: Rebar prices rise by NPR 2,300/t ($16/t) on steady demand, higher raw material costs
Nepals rebar prices rose by NPR 2,300/t ($16/t) w-o-w to NPR 74,500-76,500/t ($515-529/t) for cash guarantee sales and NPR 76,500-78,500/t ($529-543/t) for bank guarantee transactions. The increase was mainly driven by higher raw material costs and steady demand, with buyers procuring material at prevailing levels. Meanwhile, wire rod (IF-EAF) offers increased by $25/t w-o-w to $491/t CNF Raxaul.
