India: DR CLO fetches premium at NMDC’s iron ore auction from Chhattisgarh
NMDC conducted an auction for 227,000 t of iron ore from its Bacheli and Kirandul mines in Chhattisgarh on 26 Dec’25. Around 25,800-t DR CLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%) were booked at an 11.5% premium (base price INR 6,300/t), 6,000-t ROM (10-150 mm, Fe 65.5%) were booked at base price INR 5,500/t, and 103,200-t fines (Fe 64%) fetched INR 4,790/t. Prices are on FOR/FOT basis, inclusive of royalty, DMF, and NMEDT.
