400 people die of dengue this year

Three people have died of dengue fever in the country in the last 24 hours. The Health Department has reported 401 deaths so far this year. In the last 24 hours, 421 people have been admitted to various hospitals in the country due to dengue. With this, the number of dengue patients admitted to hospitals this year has reached 98,705.
This information was released in a press release from the Health and Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Health Department on Tuesday (December 9). Of the admitted dengue patients, 96,760 have recovered and been discharged from the hospital. Currently, 1,945 dengue patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals in the country.
According to the Health Department, 401 people have died of dengue so far this year. Of these, 99 dengue patients died in November alone. This is the highest number of deaths in a month this year. 80 people died in October. And 76 people died of dengue in September.
