Bodies of mother and daughter murdered in Dhaka reach Natore, burial at noon
The bodies of mother Malaila Afroz and her daughter Nafisa Binte Aziz, who were murdered in Dhaka’s Mohammadpur, have reached their village home in Natore. The bodies reached the city’s Baragachha area early on Tuesday (December 9). The incident has cast a shadow of mourning over the entire area.
The deceased are the wife and daughter of Azizul Islam of the same area. The bodies of the mother and daughter were recovered from their house on Shahjahan Road in the capital’s Mohammadpur area on Monday morning, November 8. It is believed that the housekeeper Ayesha killed them and fled. According to police information, the housekeeper identified herself as Ayesha and fled the house after killing them, wearing Nafisa’s school uniform.
Nafisa was a ninth-grade student of Mohammadpur Preparatory School. Nafisa’s father Azizul Islam teaches at Sunbeams School in Uttara. A heartbreaking situation arose after the bodies of the mother and daughter reached their house in Natore, Baragachha. The family said that their funeral will be held after the Zuhr prayers.
