Expatriate voter app to be released on November 18

The expatriate voter app and final voter list will be released on November 18, said Election Commission Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed. He said this at a briefing at the Election Commission Bhaban on Sunday (November 9) afternoon.
At the time, he advised Aam Janata Dal member secretary Tarique Rahman to break his hunger strike and file a legal appeal. He said that the registration was not approved under certain conditions. The senior secretary also mentioned that if any candidate or political party is aggrieved, they can file an appeal at any time.
The briefing also informed that the time for the dialogue will be fixed after the gazette of the code of conduct is published. It is to be noted that so far, the expatriate voter registration program is underway in 11 countries. The latest program has been launched in New York and Washington in the United States.
