Three more die of dengue, 685 hospitalized

Three more people have died of dengue, a disease transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes, in the last 24 hours. In addition, 685 more people have been hospitalized due to dengue fever during this period. This information was given in a report sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Sunday (September 14). According to the report, from 8 am yesterday Saturday to 8 am today Sunday, 244 people in Dhaka Metropolitan City, 89 people in Chittagong Division (excluding City Corporation), 122 people in Dhaka Division, 125 people in Barisal Division, 35 people in Khulna Division, 39 people in Rajshahi Division, 21 people in Mymensingh Division, 6 people in Rangpur Division and 4 in Sylhet Division were admitted to hospitals due to dengue. So far this year, 150 people have died of the disease. In addition, 37,891 people have been hospitalized due to dengue fever so far this year.
