Milestone Tragedy: Student Zarif Not Returning to Country

Another student named Zarif has died in a fighter plane crash at Milestone School and College in Diabari, the capital. The 13-year-old boy suffered 40 percent burns. Zarif died while undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute on Friday (July 25) afternoon. Resident Officer Dr. Shaon Bin Rahman confirmed this information. Earlier, two students named Aiman (10) and Makin (13) died while undergoing treatment at the Burn Institute on Friday (July 25) at 9:30 am and noon. Aiman suffered 45 percent burns and Makin suffered 70 percent burns. With this, the death toll in the plane crash has increased to 34. Of these, 16 people died at the National Burn Institute. According to the latest information, a total of 39 people are hospitalized. Four of them are in critical condition in the Burn ICU. There are 10 patients infected with SBI. On July 21, an Air Force fighter jet crashed on the Milestone School and College campus in Diabari. Most of the victims in the largest military aircraft accident in the country’s history were children. In addition, there are also the pilot of the fighter jet, two teachers and two guardians.
