2 arrested in Chittagong passenger bus fire

Two people have been arrested in Chittagong in connection with a fire in a passenger bus. They were arrested in a raid conducted on Sunday (July 20) night. Meanwhile, a CCTV footage of the incident has been circulated on social media. In it, it can be seen that a miscreant suddenly threw something like a petrol bomb at the stopped bus and fled. Panic broke out when the bus caught fire. Police said that the incident took place on Sunday evening when the bus was leaving Chittagong University and dropping off passengers at New Market intersection. However, no one was injured as the passengers got off quickly. Police also said that the matter is being investigated.
